From Conversation
to Construction
Before a single garment was designed, we asked women what they were experiencing. Not what they wanted to look like. What they were living through.
The starting point was not a trend, a mood board, or a season. It was listening. Design, for us, begins with observation — with understanding how bodies move through the world, how they change throughout a day, how clothing supports, restricts, comforts, or distracts.
The first collection emerged from those conversations. What followed was the work of translation.
How does an experience become a pattern?
How does a frustration become a solution?
How does a garment learn to respond?
From Listening to Design
A conversation can identify a problem.
Design is the process of responding to it.
Many garments are designed around a static body. A fixed set of measurements. A single moment in time.
We design with change in mind. Bodies expand and contract. Temperature fluctuates. Energy shifts. Sensitivities emerge and recede. Movement changes throughout the day. These realities are not obstacles to design. They are part of the brief.
Each garment begins by asking a series of questions:

How can a seam support without creating pressure?

How can a waistband adapt without compromising the silhouette?

How can structure remain present without becoming restrictive?
The answers emerge slowly, through drafting, fitting, testing, and refinement.

The Tailored Trouser
A garment long associated with professionalism, structure, and authority. What interested us was not changing the silhouette. It was changing the relationship between the garment and the body.
Adaptability drafted into the pattern.
Movement calculated into the cut.
Breath considered within the fabric.
The lines remain deliberate. The silhouette remains composed. What changes is how the garment feels to live in.
The diagram explains construction. The body determines success.
Each piece is worn, tested, adjusted, and refined. The structure is not static. It evolves in response to use.
An Ongoing Process
As maison parer grows, so too does the collection. What began as sketches and conversations is gradually taking physical form through rounds of prototyping, fittings, alterations, and testing. Piece by piece, we are building a wardrobe designed to support the realities of working life with greater comfort, ease, and intention.A line was drawn. A pattern was drafted. A garment was constructed. Now it will be worn.
ADAPTABILITY IS NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT.
Adaptability is not an afterthought.
